1. What is a hydraulic cylinder ?
A hydraulic cylinder is a hydraulic actuator that uses liquid pressure to transfer energy and realize reciprocating linear motion (or swinging motion).
2. How does it work ?
By injecting or discharging hydraulic oil into the hydraulic cylinder, the incompressibility of the liquid and the volume immutability of the sealed container are used to realize the reciprocating motion of the piston. When the hydraulic oil is injected from one end of the hydraulic cylinder, the piston moves to the other end, thereby pushing the load connected to it. Conversely, when the hydraulic oil is discharged from the other end of the hydraulic cylinder, the piston moves in the original direction to realize the reset or reverse motion of the load.
