Working Principle
The screw pump operates as a positive displacement pump, utilizing the pump body and intermeshing screw shafts to form isolated cavities. These cavities effectively separate the suction and discharge ports of the pump,
allowing the active screw to rotate in a predetermined direction. Simultaneously, the driven screw rotates accordingly. The cavity created at the suction point expands, drawing in liquid. As the cavity reaches maximum size, it's sealed by engaged teeth and cavities, propelling the enclosed oil along the axial discharge end. The cavity volume at the discharge port then diminishes, ensuring efficient liquid discharge.
